If you prefer to meet face to face, contact Procura Mortgage to set up an appointment with one of our helpful mortgage professionals.
To prepare for your appointment, gather some commonly requested documents when applying for a home loan:
We may ask for additional items that are required based on your specific loan or financial status. Then, your loan application and requested items will be submitted to underwriting. You'll then receive a preapproval letter that indicates a credit decision has been made, and also outlines the loan amount you can qualify for and the estimate of what your total housing payment will be. You can use the preapproval letter when you submit an offer on a property to show sellers that you have financing in place. You should also receive a good faith estimate that informs you in advance of fees and costs associated with obtaining a home loan. It contains much of the same information and is formatted like the HUD-1 Settlement Statement that you will receive at closing.
